高畑勳的《螢火蟲之墓》，從一句平靜卻刺骨的開場白展開──「昭和二十年九月二十一日夜，我死了。」冷冽的自白立即確立了死亡敘事的立場。清太不再只是小說裡的第三人稱，而是化身為一個自彼岸回望的「我」。
