沈雙·香港和新加坡/馬來亞帝國間空間的通俗文學上陳榮鋼譯

【摘要】在冷戰時期，馬華學者忽視香港通俗文學的網絡。為了更有力地進行文化政治論述，並對華語文化生產進行地區概念化，本文建議將言情小說等通俗形式理解為一個共築的地區性華語圈。根據勞拉·多伊爾（Laura Doyle）的最新研究，這個地區性的華語圈只能被理解為帝國間的華語圈。本文解讀香港作家劉以鬯的言情小說和移民故事，這些故事標志著對冷戰時期世界格局的地緣政治清算。這一視角為我們提供了更多的方法來評估地區文學領域如何與冷戰交織在一起，而不僅僅捍衛其「文學性」（literariness）。至於「通俗文學」讀物的有趣，我們不是要像張恨水和不肖生的一類的作家，他們是低級趣味的作家。然而，通俗文學與文學史編纂學的隔絕與現有的政治劃分並不一致。「非左派」或「右派」文學評論界似乎也很難接受五、六十年代通俗文學的激增。有關香港與新加坡/馬來亞的聯系，迄今最受關注的文學刊物是《蕉風》雜誌、這兩份刊物均由友聯出版社出版，並得到了亞洲基金會的資助。學者們經常討論《蕉風》的政治取向和文學質量，但並沒有真正觸及純文學和「俗文學」（通俗文學）的劃分問題。…See More
