陳明發博士《鎮小、背景大》
旅遊教育特色小鎮，在提供安全樸實的生活環境外，也集中了教學、科研、就業、創業與休閑的友善生態。這裏不是一個學生畢業後，才去找尋實習與就業機會的地方，這裏就是他們在上學時向師長學習，下課後向業者實習的圓夢場域；整個求學與成長的黃金年歲，就是他們觀察與認準人生方向的地方。鎮上的產業區、圖書館、博物館、文物館、景點、商區與房屋，都是圍繞各所學府學生與畢業生而在經營的一個大社區。（4.1.2021）
