这是一部很好读的游记，连文带图加上旅行团成员名单，共110页，半个晚上就读完了。可是，孙春徳医生在这部《六四后的中国》一书里提到的许多事物，在庆祝马中建交50周年纪念的这两天，非常值得有心人细细地回味。
此书出版于1990年6月4日，砂拉越诗巫慕娘印务印刷，拉让书局发行。第二年，孙医生开始了他长达4届的立委生涯，期间依然笔耕不息，结册多部。虽以政论与民生议题为重，但其“有碗说碗，有盘说盘”的医生本色，在《六》书中早见其风格。
