印象中的中國作家,曹雪芹是可以算上半個美食家的。施耐庵我覺得他不行,他的莽吃主義思想貫穿著一條梁山路線。現當代作家中梁實秋略約有些講究,但我沿著他的美食地圖跑了半個京城,最終也只是落腳到一個洪湖館子,梁氏自然沒有在九十年代的京城小酌了,那個洪湖館子開張不算太久。

吃了如許的棗,我兒時特別敬畏的棗樹上懸著的棗,它枝條上的刺仍是那麽鋒利,怒直或微彎的執著護守著孕育新生命的果實。然以我現在的高度可以立地采摘它,心態便平和得多了。王海村種植果樹是始於明末清初,是村民們從遠方移民至此開始的,許多棗樹都有百年歲高齡。
王冠宇先生說可以把它做成小提琴的部件,會助小提琴獲得非常好的音質。棗樹還呈現一種駭人的堅韌,它也要遭受橡膠樹那樣的切膚之疼,俗稱“加棗”。“加棗”的辦法是在棗樹開花之際,用木鋸將棗樹臨地二尺的地方圓周鋸它一圈,使棗樹葉子光合作用的營養保留在枝幹而不能傳輸到根系,這樣便使棗花有足夠的營養支持它座果,棗樹就能結滿棗子。…

很巧的一件事。去年的秋天,我去黃河壺口瀑布的路途中,曾到吉首呂梁山上閻錫山的抗日指揮所摘棗子吃,那是山西大棗,懸在黃河的濤音里,吃起來仿佛是有積澱於歲月深處的醇甜。我記得摘棗把棗樹枝都折斷了,那是一份急切,同去的是臨汾筆會的一幫散文家。今年的秋天,我又來到棗園摘棗,是隨著內畫家王冠宇先生到他的老家河北省橫水市阜城縣霞口鎮王海村,著名抗日小說《平原槍聲》的平原就是這一帶。果然,平原闊大啊,東去300公里是渤海灣,西去300公里是太行山,大運河、滏陽河則南北向悠悠從中流過。…
