2014年1月7日上午6時55分，香港傳來一後惡耗，電視廣播有限公司創辦人兼榮譽主席，邵逸夫爵士在家中安詳辭世，享年107歲。邵逸夫爵士一生充滿傳奇色彩，他所成立的邵氏兄弟電影公司拍攝過逾千部華語電影，而他旗下的電視廣播有限公司為香港電視業的主導，多年來佔據本地收視的龍頭位置。他的影視王國深深影響了數十年的華人影視文化，在他的領導下，幕前幕後人才輩出；邵逸夫生前曾致力於慈善事業，歷年捐助慈善事務超過100多億港元，晚年更成立有東方諾貝爾獎之稱的「邵逸夫獎」，支持及表彰世界各地的科研成果。雖然他經已離我們而去，但他的精神永遠長存，就讓我們回顧這位全球最長壽、任期時間最長的上市公司行政總裁，影視大亨邵逸夫先生精彩的一生。
