“七月在野，八月在宇，九月在戶，十月蟋蟀入我床下”。
三千年前，詩經裏一個豳國詩人那樣說。
三千年後，在我天涯郊寓的客廳裏，忽然有蟋蟀躲在沙發下鳴唱。
一樣是秋天！
宇宙運轉依舊，任人間萬難千劫，斬不斷一世紀又一世紀的秋愁。而蟋蟀；總是叫來一秋，又送走一秋。…

程明琤《歲月邊緣》梵天之舞──一個印度藝術形象的詮釋
看了一部有關印度文化的記錄短片《梵天之舞》（Dance of Shiva）。起初以為片中敘述的是“梵天”（Shiva）這個印度教天神。在雕塑藝術中、在印度教中，“梵天”代表創造和毀滅的大神，廣受信徒敬畏和膜拜。而且，“梵天”更是舞蹈之神，啟發歷代藝術者的創造和思維。據說，從銅塑到石刻，各種“梵天”的舞姿可達一百多種。我想要看的，就是那種不同舞姿的形象攝影和敘述。…

明明是一樣的日子，忽然覺得空氣裏有一種不同的信息──不像春天的慵懶，不像夏日的騰躍，而像一種凝神中的靈透。
白日裏；天空像加了一層藍，陽光像添了一抹金，地上的影子也勾畫得格外分明。黑夜中蟲聲露華更重，月色更顯得清澈孤冷。這些信息來時；總是秋天！
院中的楓樹仍然繁茂，只是清晨起身，地上會有落葉，雖然只是少少幾片片，卻也載著將近的秋訊了。再過些時，就會紅葉紛紛，舞盡西風後，便催走了另一年！而舞來一秋又一秋的紅葉，總向我招展著那個初來美國時；住在新港（New Haven）的秋天。…
