周寧·20世紀西方文學批評的四種范式 6
他運用福柯的「權力話語」分析方法, 打破了文學與社會、文學與歷史之間的封閉的話語系統。福柯在直接討論文學的《作者是什麼》一文中, 曾對德裡達的理論提出批評, 在福柯看來, 話語涵蓋了一切領域。批評和閱讀與其說是去發現現成的文本意義, 不如說是一種建構, 是讓過去和現時跨越斷層進行對話, 以洞察權力關係的真相。
新歷史主義賦予文本分析一個政治批評視野, 「歷史」和「意識形態」在全新的文本意義上被解讀, 並被當作文本蘊含的重要意義。文本是歷史的文本, 是歷時與共時統一的文本, 文本的意義絕不可能擺脫意識形態而自足於本文之中。過去與未來在文本意義生成瞬間接通, 歷史視界使文本成為一個不斷解釋而且被解釋的螺旋體。文本的意義體現在將不確定性和轉瞬即逝的飄浮存在加以形式化, 將存在的意義轉化為可領悟的話語符號。歷史延伸了文本的維度, 使人透過文本而探尋到生命的詩性意義。新歷史主義造成新一輪波及整個人文科學的范式革命,…
