(上續)「地方」無論是作為一個概念,還是一種研究視角,於人文地理學的重要性已毋庸置疑。然而,對於初涉此領域的學人來說,很難找到一本系統介紹此概念的書籍,若想對相關理論進行學習,只能從眾多論著中零星尋找,很難獲得系統性和連貫性,筆者便曾遭遇此困境。
這種情況與「地方」在人文地理學中的重要地位是極不相稱的。因此當蒂姆•克雷斯韋爾(Tim Cresswell)的著作「Place: a short introduction」(《地方:記憶、想像與認同》)走入筆者視野時,猶如暗夜裏的一束光,照亮了學習的方向。鑒於此,以下將對《地方:記憶、想像與認同》一書做簡要的評述,以示分享與推薦之意。…
