我們村前有一棵粗大的棗樹，已不知有多少年了。縱馬來到棗樹下，我仰頭一看，卻見一個小孩用奇怪的眼光看著我，我發現這個小孩竟有些像兒時的我自己，我小時候也是經常爬這棵樹的。而他不但面容與那時的我相像，而且也穿了一件黑底紅花的破棉襖，和那時的我一樣。在我的相冊裏仍留有那時的一張照片，所以我一眼就看出其中的相像之處，我懷疑這是否又是幻覺給我開的一個玩笑，所以我招呼了他一聲，哎，小家夥。
小家夥看了我一眼，甕聲甕氣地說，幹啥？
他答應了，我卻讓我不知說什麽好了，所以我對他笑了一笑，說，給我一個——棗子吧。…
