《景德傳燈錄》原文
有一省郎，夢至碧嚴下一老僧前，煙穗極微，云:此是檀越結願存香煙存而檀越已三生矣。第一生，明皇時劍南安撫退官。第二生，憲皇時西蜀書記。第三生，即今生也。

陳明發《三生有幸，何解？》老話說“三生有幸”，這“三生”，佛家說的：前生、今生、來生。幸者，幸運也。
中國宋代佛教禪宗史書《景德傳燈錄》，有這麼一則記載——
有位官吏夢見自己，走到一座碧藍的山岩前，遇上一位老僧人。
眼前飄過一絲極其清淡的香縷。
老和尚說：這是一位施主許願燒的香。此君早已度過三生：
頭一生，在明皇時當劍南地方的安撫退官；第二生，憲皇時當西蜀書記；第三生，即今生也。
第三生，也就是這位有所夢的官吏，時任省郎。一個願，一縷清香，富貴三生。有願成真，何其幸也。（31.12.2020）
