曹文軒：個性化的閱讀
世間有許多讀書種子，但他們的讀書似乎與他們的精神無補，反而讀成呆子，讀成迂腐可笑之人。曹聚仁先生說他曾聽說過浙江金華有個姓郭的，書讀到能將《資治通鑒》背誦一番的程度，但寫一個借傘的便條，卻寫得讓人不堪卒讀（那便條寫了五千餘字）。讀書多，莫過於清朝的樸學家，然而，像章太炎那樣令人欽佩的樸學大師又有幾個？我認得一位教授先生，只要提起他來，人們第一句話便是：此人讀書很多。然而，他的文章我才不要看。那文章只是別人言論的聯綴與拼接，讀來實在覺得沒有意思。讀書不是裝書。讀書用腦子，裝書用箱子。腦子給了讀書人，是讓讀書人讀書時能舉一反三，能很強健地去擴大知識的。箱子便只能如數裝書。有些人讀一輩子書，讀到終了，不過是只書箱子而已。…
