文化有根 創意是伴 Bridging Creativity
苦瓜開小黃花,黃扣子大小,爲時不長,丈量完二十四小時後就悄然退場。散出一種獨到幽香,哪怕只有一朵,風來,一個院子裡都會填滿這種叫幽香的單詞。
大畫家石濤的號是「苦瓜和尚」,他編過一本《苦瓜和尚畫語錄》,我一邊看書一邊吃苦瓜。感覺石濤風格並不「苦」,而是「漲」。抒情成分更多。
張大千是造假石濤的高手,現在許多石濤畫都出大風堂之手。張大千讓我明白,世上最妙的造仿不是苦苦摹畫,而是意創。替石濤創作。石濤一直死而復生,這例子是畫 壇三十六計之一,叫借屍還魂。
苦瓜的苦風格其他蔬菜無法模仿。

一個在四川瀘州工作一輩子的表舅,晚年返回中原,他告訴我:少不入川,老不進關。他年輕時進川,是個美麗錯誤。但能做一手好苦瓜菜。
我在他家第一次吃過炒苦瓜,上了癮,回來就在院子裡自己開始種。以至曬衣服的欄杆上都爬滿苦瓜鬚。
說苦瓜臉是形容一種愁相。
苦瓜像我們這類小人物濃縮的生活,苦,是從上到下,從內到外,從皮到瓤的苦,靜下心來想想,苦中恍然還能有一種回味。這才是支撐的骨頭。
像大家平時過的日子,儘管苦,若等下一盤苦瓜端上來,照樣要吃。
