根據小劉的設計,情人節晚餐的飲料是椰水。餐前小吃是炸香蕉和沙爹,主食椰漿飯後,甜品是紅豆冰。誰知女友翻臉說:“要損我,也不需要這麽廉價吧!”
小劉慌張的解釋:“這一餐,可大大有名堂,都是部長今天才公布的‘國家文化遺產’!”
“抱歉,我沒文化!”她重重的摔上車門,摔下他。
他一付被騙了的樣子對我說:“你成天說文化有黏性;為何我的愛情卻飛了?……那椰漿飯不美味嗎,紅豆冰不好吃嗎?”
我一付無辜的樣子答道:“椰漿飯沒錯,紅豆冰也沒錯。錯在當官的搞出一百樣‘文化遺產食物’,又不說明它們為何有文化;為何是遺產。…

肉骨茶國文和英文的音譯都是Bak kut Teh。兩者並無指定或限定何種肉或骨類來熬煮。
因為肉骨茶是華族,尤其是巴生的華人特別喜愛的美食,巴生可說是全馬聞名的肉骨茶城。無怪友族都認定其烹制的肉骨必定是豬的肉骨,其實並不全對。
馬來西亞是多元種族的國度,飲食文化的交流和融合是最自然不過的事情。
巫裔的咖喱和椰漿飯,印裔的Nasi Kandang和Roti Canai,華裔的包點和源於新加坡的雞飯同是各族喜愛而又常吃的美食。…
