吳鄭重，廚房之舞：身體和空間的日常生活地理學考察 上
市井小民讀得津津有味，學者專家卻覺得不具學術創見與嚴謹性──反而讓我有一番新的體悟：它反映出《廚房之舞》似乎有達到我以建構日常生活地理學的理論觀點來分析公寓廚房和女性家務處境關聯的「去神祕化」目標。而這正是我對社會科學研究和學術出版的基本態度──「好讀易懂」和「深入淺出」是學術著作的基本要求，也是最高境界；而其步驟在於讓複雜的事情變簡單，讓簡單的事情變得有深度，然後讓有深度的事情變得有趣。雖然我離這樣的研究功力和寫作境界還有很遙遠的距離，但是我朝向這個方向努力的目標將不會改變。我覺得這才是學術的王道。
說到這裡，我不得不岔出來談一下我對學術研究和學術出版的一些看法。首先，我認為社會科學研究不能脫離真實社會與生活脈絡──它的出發點是來自真實社會，它的成果也應該回歸到具體生活。這個來自於批判實在論的研究立場特別強調「承載理論的具體研究」（a theory-laden…
