汪曾祺〈葡萄月令〉（上）
一月，下大雪。
雪靜靜地下著。果園一片白。聽不到一點聲音。
葡萄睡在鋪著白雪的窖里。
二月里颳春風。
立春後，要颳四十八天“擺條風”。風擺動樹的枝條，樹醒了，忙忙地把汁液送到全身。樹枝軟了。樹綠了。雪化了，土地是黑的。
黑色的土地里，長出了茵陳蒿。碧綠。

借書人開好借書單，——管理員把借書單叫做“飛子”，昆明人把一切不大的紙片都叫做“飛子”、買米的發票、包裹單、汽車票，都叫“飛子”，——這位管理員看一看，放在木盤里，一拽旁邊的鈴鐺，“當啷啷”，木盤就從洞里吊上去了。——上面大概有個滑車。不一會，上面拽一下鈴鐺，木盤又系了下來，你要的書來了。這種古老而有趣的借書手續我以後再也沒有見過。這個小圖書館藏書似不少，而且有些善本。我們想看的書大都能夠借到。過了兩三個小時，這位乾瘦而沈默的有點像陳老蓮畫出來的古典的圖書管理員站起來，把壁上不走的掛鐘的時針“喀拉拉”一撥，撥到十二點：下班！我們對他這種以意為之的計時方法完全沒有意見。因為我們沒有一定要看完的書，到這里來只是享受一點安靜。我們的看書，是沒有目的的，從《南詔國誌》到福爾摩斯，逮什麼看什麼。…
