Oona Morrow書評《情動理論讀本》下
在《情動之後：同情、同步與模仿性溝通》（After Affect: Sympathy, Synchrony and Mimetic Communication）中，Anna Gibbs 以「模仿」（mimesis）概念分析了情動的「傳染性」。她認為模仿是我們感知與傳遞某些情動的關鍵，並且是倫理交往的基礎，因為它構成「親子、同儕、友誼與愛情關係的黏合劑，並且在某些條件下，也能促成與陌生人之間的短暫共鳴」（202頁）。
