很久很久以前，有一座山，山上有一棵千年榕樹，榕樹旁有一座古廟， 廟裡有位老和尚。
有一天，老和尚在一道牆上，畫了四隻蝴蝶。有人說，當天 凌晨的霧散發著蓮花的氣息。當晚， 老和尚圓寂，手裡握著三枝蓮蓬。
弟子們發現，牆上那四隻蝴蝶，只畫了一邊的翅膀。有人建 議完成師父的遺作 。大弟子於是提起筆墨， 給一隻蝴蝶畫上另 一邊的翅膀。一畫完，那隻蝴蝶便拍動翅膀， 飛上千年榕樹不見 了。…
