冰心·繁星
我愛月夜，但我也愛星天。從前在家鄉七、八月的夜晚在庭院裏納涼的時候，我最愛看天上密密麻麻的繁星。望著星天，我就會忘記一切，仿佛回到母親的懷裏似的。
三年前在南京我住的地方有一道後門，每晚我打開後門，便看見一個靜寂的夜。下面是一片菜園，上面是星群密布的藍天。星光在我們的肉眼裏雖然微小，然而它使我們覺得光明無處不在。那時候我正在讀一些關於天文學的書，也認得一些星星，好像它們是我的朋友，它們常常在和我談話一樣。…

楊朔·茶花賦
楊朔（1913～1968），山東省蓬萊縣人。現代作家。著有《楊朔散文集》、《楊朔短篇小說選》、《三千里江山》等。
久在異國他鄉，有時難免要懷念祖國的。懷念極了，我也曾想：要能畫一幅畫兒，畫出祖國的面貌特色，時刻掛在眼前，有多好。我把這心思去跟一位擅長丹青的同誌商量，求她畫，她說：“這可是個難題，畫什麼呢？畫點零山碎水，一人一物，都不行。再說，顏色也難調，你就是調盡五顏六色，又怎麼畫得出祖國的面貌？”我想了想，也是，就擱下這樁心思。
今年二月，我從海外回來，一腳踏進昆明，心都醉了。我是北方人，論季節，北方也許正是攪天風雪，水瘦山寒，雲南的春天卻腳步兒勤，來得快，到處早像催生婆似的正在催動花事。…
