馬蒂摩爾《秘密花園》
一個星期前，卡羅琳打電話過來，說山頂上有人種了水仙，執意要我去看看。此刻我正在途中，勉勉強強地趕著那兩個小時的路程。
通往山頂的路上不但颳著風，而且還被霧封鎖著，我小心翼翼，慢慢地將車開到了卡羅琳的家裏。
“我是一步也不肯走了！”我宣佈，“我留在這兒吃飯．只等霧一散開，馬上打道回府。”“可是我需要你幫忙。將我捎到車庫裏，讓我把車開出來好嗎？”卡羅琳說，“至少這些我們做得到吧？”
“離這兒多遠？”我謹慎地問。
“３分鐘左右，”她回答我，“我來開車吧！我已經習慣了。”…
