七、聶家岩，必將成為未來故鄉的經典比喻和神話
聶家岩詩篇的內容，當然永遠不只是前面所述這些意義。橫向展開的內容是故鄉的三個維度：人物、風物及心靈史。當作者人到中年重新回顧童年的生活場景，回憶那些遇見的人，把玩兒的物件和遭遇的事件，像向教授這樣的敏銳詩人，不可能用退休老幹部的筆法，再去簡單描寫那個已經面目全非的故鄉。如何在故鄉的重新解析裏，找到鄉村人類學的文化本質意義，才是一個優秀詩人在這個時代所應該肩負的責任。
前文有問，一部優秀的詩集，第一層是記載事實，第二層是表達愛與哀愁，第三層是反躬自省，第四層和第五層又幹什麽呢？大多數認真的詩人，都做得到回憶、抒情和反省，大多數詩人也只能止步於此。…
