一 世界是符號的系統
“站在街頭的叫失足女,會所裏的叫小姐,擺根管子叫藝術鋼管舞,有攝像頭的叫主播,禮堂舞台上的叫將軍。”
語詞的功能是能指(聲音)和所指(概念)，能指和所指之間的某種矛盾和沖突構成了一種荒誕，它造成了這個段子的黑色幽默效果。 結合段子中的語境，可以大致理解失足女、小姐、藝術鋼管舞這樣的語詞的意義的所指都是指出賣肉體的人，俗稱妓女。但如果去掉具體的語境，這些語詞的意義又具有各種各樣的能指，究竟什麽是一個語詞的意義?…
