張廣達：我和隋唐、中亞史研究
一
我於1949年考入燕京大學物理系，次年轉系進入歷史系。我非常幸運，遇到了很多好老師。這些老師學識淵博，在當時雖都已卓然成家，但仍然焚膏繼晷，潛心向學，刻苦自勵，精益求精，使我大開眼界。他們在授業解惑、教育學生上循循善誘，汲引有方，期待學生成為有用之材，盼望學生青出於藍勝於藍。這種心情體現在他們的言傳身教上，他們所具有的敬業獻身精神，是一種發自內心的宗教般的赤忱。今天回想起來無限感念這些老師，並為當年不能體認他們的苦心而慚愧而追悔。…
