十幾年前，背包包到中國遊走過一個月。在承德時參與一個導覽團，和團裡一位來自上海的男士“聊”了好一陣子。沒談三句，我就發現他有一種需要統御全局的強烈性格。
例如，他問你：“噢，你馬來西亞來的，馬來西亞人吃蘋果嗎？”我還沒來得及答他，他就緊接下去說：“我們上海現在的入口蘋果，越賣越貴了；上海人的嘴巴吃刁了，沒最好的都不吃！”初聽還以為他在批上海人奢侈，聽多了，才了解那是在炫呢！
後來，他問我：“你們馬來西亞人有沒有..........？” 我一概笑笑，不答；要答也趕不上他接下去作“我們上海可富了”的口頭報告。就算我有本事搶在他的話前答他，他也不會有興趣聽的。搞不好，還讓他酸一回。…
