徐 賁：讓公民交談代替群眾吶喊
社會學家莫斯科維奇（S. Moscovici）在《群氓的時代》中把“交談”稱為民眾的鎮靜劑，早在20世紀初，社會學家塔德（Gabriel Tarde）就發現，每一種形式的交流都有與其對應的社會群體，並形成某種“意見領袖”。在出現大眾傳媒之前，演說是一種面對眾多“聽眾”的直接說話，演說的話語力量使得演說者成為意見領袖。後來，有了報紙，報紙是對無數的“公眾”說話，也有了不同的意見領袖，那就是時論評論員。
塔德還發現，人們交談時采用的身體姿勢反映了他們談話的語調和內容。說話者坐著進行的交談是分量最重和最嚴肅的。而當他們的姿勢十分放鬆的時候，如羅馬人在環繞餐桌三面的躺椅(triclinia）上懶洋洋地躺著進行交談，交流似乎是最有效的，這種交談非常流暢也非常從容。希臘人喜歡走來走去地交談，這有利於他們敏捷而活躍的思維。…
