人們經常有一個誤解，以為對什麽事情有一個想法或信念，只要說出來，就是說理，因為“理”已經在他的話裏了，或者他說的話就是“理”。這是不對的。看法或信念只是結論，人們可以憑印象、偏見、習慣對許多事情有看法和下結論，既沒有考慮到別人可能有不同的看法，也沒有想過要如何才能說服與自己看法不同的他人。如果僅僅說出一個看法或下一個結論，而不為此提供充分、可靠的理由，那麽，看法或結論充其量不過是一個說法，說法不等於說理，關鍵之一便是有沒有理由。…
