這似乎是這個問題的更合乎邏輯的推論。我們知道，盡管這個並不是最常得出的結論。最通常的結論是以下這種：劇場涉及觀看行為而觀看行為是個壞東西。我們需要一個新劇場，一個沒有觀看行為的劇場。我們需要一個劇場，在那裏視覺關係——它隱含在觀眾區中——隸屬於另一種關係，而它隱含在戲劇之中。
戲劇意味著行動。劇場是行動的的確確通過一些生命體，在另一些生命體面前被表演出來的地方。後者也許放棄了他們的權力。但是他們的權力在前者的表演中，在開發它的智慧中，在它傳遞的能量中被重新激活。
真正意義上的劇場一定是以表演的動能為前提的。劇場不得不被拉回到它的本質，它與我們平常所知的劇場相反。我們所要尋求的是一個沒有觀眾的劇場，在那裏觀眾將不再是觀眾，他們學習東西而不是被圖像所虜獲，他們將變成一場集體表演中的活躍的參與者，而不是被動的觀者。 …
