石德華·王鼎鈞篇作品導讀

王鼎鈞·崔門三記 — 流血記
老崔望見小俠（他現在叫愛德華了）放學回家，連忙從冰箱裡端出小俠最愛吃的冰淇淋來。可是小俠望也沒望一眼，進臥房去倒頭便睡。老崔追到床邊，拉著兒子的手問怎麼了，回答是頭疼。手掌按在兒子額上，沒發燒，心情一鬆，笑了。怎麼會痛起來的？「林肯推我，我的頭撞到牆了。」
老崔的心弦立刻拉緊，捧著小俠的頭摸摸看看，沒看出什麼問題來，孩子卻不耐煩了。孩子那知道他父親呆坐床邊化成一具吃角子賭博的機器，嘩嘩喇喇吐出來腦震盪，昏迷，白癡，破傷風，一大堆恐怖。美國大都市是個可怕的地方，他聽到過許多行為粗暴的故事。他的下意識裡有個問號：那樣的事情會不會發生在小俠身上？難道，現在有了訊號？定了定神，央告兒子坐起，就著窗口，撥開一頭茂密的黑髮，像骨董商看花瓶似的，轉著圈兒看個沒完。…
