森林
在整個世界，除了水，我最喜歡的就是森林。
繁衍自強的森林是生之意趣。森林收容了一幕又一幕悲喜劇。
彌漫在森林間的沈寂與神秘，為藝術提供了深沈、寧靜的心理背景。多少個世紀以來，森林始終滋潤著人們的鄉愁與詩心。這就是為什麽索爾·貝婁會說：“藝術從森林開始。”
森林多麽好。森林有花有草，森林有雲有霧，森林有風有雨，森林有泉有湖……

遲子建·落紅蕭蕭為哪般
蕭紅出生時，呼蘭河水是清的。月亮喜歡把垂下的長發，輕輕浸在河裏，洗濯它一路走來惹上的塵埃。於是我們在蕭紅的作品中，看到了呼蘭河上搖曳的月光。那樣的月光即使沈重，也帶著股芬芳之氣。蕭紅在香港辭世時，呼蘭河水仍是清的。由於被日軍占領，香港市面上骨灰盒緊缺，端木蕻良不得不去一家古玩店，買了一對素雅的花瓶，替代骨灰盒。這個無奈之舉，在我看來，是冥冥之中蕭紅的暗中訴求。因為蕭紅是一朵盛開了半世的玫瑰，她的靈骨是花泥，回歸花瓶，適得其所。
香港淪陷，為安全計，端木蕻良將蕭紅的骨灰分裝在兩只花瓶中，一只埋在淺水灣，如戴望舒所言，臥聽著“海濤閑話”；另一只埋在戰時臨時醫院，也就是如今的聖士提反女子中學的一棵樹下，仰看著花開花落。…
