周曉陽：大學者改寫的小故事 （上）
從古至今，以雜劇為代表的中國戲曲文化都享有世界級名望。昔日，它與古希臘戲劇和古印度梵劇一道，並稱為世界三大古老戲劇。如今，基於雜劇的昆曲、京劇等紛紛入選非物質文化遺產名錄，得到全人類的關注與珍惜。
就文化優勢而言，文本、唱腔、演藝、舞臺之美等自不待說之外，雜劇還有一個別的古典文學品種無可比擬的特點，也就是入世性，以及由此而來的普及性和強大影響力。誠如陳獨秀所言，“戲園者，實普天下人之大學堂也”。幾百年來，寓教化於娛樂的雜劇，曾潛移默化地塑造著民眾的是非榮辱觀。花木蘭替父從軍、中山狼忘恩負義、眾人舍命救助趙氏孤兒、才子佳人墻頭馬上來相會……家喻戶曉、口口相傳的“中國情節”，沈澱於中華兒女的集體記憶中，時刻提醒我們堅守勤勞簡樸、通情達理、尊老護幼、愛國如家的美好品德。…
