而在這一二重體系的另一面則是個人化的、前社會化的散漫語言，是與所謂文明以及律法相對的「生食」狀態，也是未被社會秩序干擾的現實界。克里斯蒂娃的象征態與符號態延續了這一對立體系的模式，與借助語法和句法等各種規則運行語言的象征態體系相對，詩歌文本中所充斥著的節奏、韻律和語調的形式，使得符號態能指滲透進象征態體系，從而讓詩性語言呈現出一種動態的、愉悅的、非意義與意義混雜的效果。[9]克里斯蒂娃引入符號態的概念還有著拓展女性主義理論在語言學層面的疆域這一訴求，她借用柏拉圖的《蒂邁歐篇》（Timée）中的「子宮間」（chora）一詞來描述這種與母性身體息息相關的，對抗父系社會邏各斯以及律法的和具有多重內涵的陰性語言體系。…
