劉思文：南海詩的特色流變及文化意蘊 （2）
與此同時，與人們生產生活密切相關的南海也成為古人建祠祭祀的對象。隋文帝曾下詔於南海鎮建立南海神廟。唐代不斷提升南海廟祭祀規格，以祈求神靈庇護。韓愈有《海南神廟碑》：“冊尊南海神為廣利王。祝號祭式，與次俱升，因其故廟，易而新之，在今廣州治之東南海道八十里，扶胥之口，黃木之灣。”⑧如果說唐代張籍《蠻中》中的“玉環穿耳誰家女，自抱琵琶迎海神”⑨、元稹《采珠行》中的“年年采珠珠避人，今年采珠由海神”⑩和高駢《南海神祠》中的“此日征南將，安然渡萬艘”(11)帶有個體崇祀色彩，那麽白居易《送客春遊嶺南二十韻》中的“牙檣迎海舶，銅鼓賽江神”(12)則反映出祭祀南海神已成為一種民俗活動。李群玉《涼公從叔春祭廣利王廟》中的“龍驤伐鼓下長川，直濟雲濤古廟前。海客斂威驚火旆，天吳收浪避樓船。陰靈迥作南溟主，祀典高齊五嶽肩。從此華夷封域靜，潛熏玉燭奉堯年”(13)，則通過描寫祭祀海神之盛況，表達出南海在古人心中的至高地位。…
