趙振江·帕斯與《太陽石》
北大外國語學院 趙振江教授
帕斯在國際上影響極大，獲的獎項不計其數，但是由於拉美文學在其他學校——包括北外——很少開這門課，因為我們是以歐美文學為主。但是在國外，拉美文學是有很大影響的。比如美國，拉美文學的研究比研究美國文學的還多。19世紀之前，拉美文學主要是模仿歐洲，亦步亦趨。拉美獨立之後，才有可能有拉美意識。而拉美大學反過來影響其前宗王國，則是在19世紀末。西方現代派，最早是出現在拉美。何塞·馬蒂是最早的現代文學詩人。而1888年，尼加拉瓜一位詩人的《藍》，標志著拉美現代主義文學的形成。1990年，帕斯獲得了諾貝爾文學獎，黑龍江出版社以前在《太陽石》的序言說，這是“現代主義詩歌的又一勝利。”但他們不知道，到1916年，現代主義就在拉美衰落了。1989年我就把《太陽石》譯成中文了，但出版社一直不發行，因為很多人都說看不懂，帕斯得了諾貝爾獎之後，才立刻發表了。…
