海上東籬

我在婆羅洲的東岸築一方東籬，
以海為牆，以雲為瓦。
讓絲路的風住進熱帶的夢，
讓文明的香火，在潮聲裡長明。
這裡，是南海，也是未來的家。

Eastern Hedge by the Sea

On Borneo’s eastern shore, I build my hedge of dawn—
the sea its wall, the clouds its roof.
Let the Silk Road winds dwell in tropical dreams,
let the flame of civilizations
burn steady within the voice of tides.
Here is the South Sea—
and here, the home to come.

有一種花，只在赤道綻放，
花名不曾記載，如婆羅洲的
故事。吸納中原的墨香，
吐露南海的大氣。
人來人往間，花瓣落成
一條閃光的海上絲路。

The Flower Beyond the Hedge
A flower blooms only at the equator,
Nameless, like Borneo’s whispered lore.
It drinks the ink of China’s scholars,
Breathes the salt of southern shores.
Through the coming and going of strangers,
Its petals fall, a gleaming maritime road.
