呂新雨：新媒體時代的“未來考古” （14）
今天, 這個單一認同的轉變力量, 正是網絡虛擬社區作為現實替代性補償的代價。它既是網絡暴力和現實暴力的來源, 也是網絡民主和現實民主失敗的表征。
按照詹姆遜的表述：” 在我們的社會, 政治已經被成功地與個人分離, 政治是作為一種缺陷而存在的。” 這里的政治可以理解為民主政治。在《未來考古學：烏托邦欲望和其他科幻小說》一書中, 詹姆遜寫道：烏托邦” 在社會層面上, 這意味著我們的想象力是受我們的生產方式 (可能還要加上其所保存的過去一切世代的遺留物) 所製約的。也就是說, 烏托邦最多達到一個消極的目的, 即讓我們更清楚地意識到我們所受的精神和意識形態的禁錮” 。作為新媒體的社交媒體在這個意義上正是現實世界消極面的鏡像。詹姆遜闡述道：
