文化有根 創意是伴 Bridging Creativity
每一個詩人都有著相同的挑戰與宿命,那就是尋求如何擺脫前人的影響,創造自己的風格,而在風格既成之後,又要思考如何自我突破,避免重複。前者美國批評家布魯姆(Harold Bloom)稱之為「影響的焦慮」(The Anxiety of Influence),認為它如同詩人心理的弒父情結。兒子要獨立自主,勢必經歷一番心理上的弒父,詩人要脫去前人的影子,也需要叛逆。這一切說明風格建立之非易,但歐陽柏燕做到了,不僅如此,她深知超越的重要,在《飛翔密碼》的序文中她說道:「寫詩的人,總是隨時在啟程,隨時在尋求超越。」

批評從來不是容易的事,批評是把金針渡予人,把自己的理解介紹給讀者,去幫助讀者理解。讀者的閱讀經驗、期待視野各自不同,對作品的理解也就不同,所以西方的解釋學(hermeneutics)自施萊爾馬赫(Friedrich Schleimacher,1768—1834)及狄爾泰(W.Dilthey,1833—1911)以降,都強調讀者不同的理解。何蘭(Norman N. Holland ,1927—)甚至認為:「意義無關乎文本,而是繫於讀者,解釋是讀者再創造的一種過程。」於是,問題來了,文學批評有句老話:「一千個讀者,就有一千個哈姆雷特。」批評家的理解因此也就不可能讓每個讀者滿意,批評實際上成了另一種創作,於是我們有了批評的批評,使文學批評變成一種螺旋式的上升。…
