[愛墾研創]欲望不是自然形成，而是社會生產的──鮑德里亞論消費社會中的欲望生產
鮑德里亞對消費社會最具革命性的貢獻之一，在於他徹底顛覆了人們對「需求」（need）與「欲望」（desire）的傳統理解。一般經濟學認為，人類先天具有各種需求，例如食物、衣物、住所與交通等基本生活所需；市場的功能則是提供商品，以滿足這些既有需求。即使在現代行銷理論中，企業也常被描述為「發掘需求」、「滿足需求」或「創造價值」。然而，鮑德里亞認為，這種敘事仍然預設需求是一種自然且客觀存在的事實，而市場只是被動地回應人們的需要。
