阿來《草木的理想國：成都物候記》梔子（下）
5月29日。
今天上午，天放晴了，但要出門辦事。
路過常去的器材店，買了兩只偏振鏡，就是要對付強烈的陽光輻射下花朵上的反光。下午急急回到家，天又陰了。更多的梔子花競相開放。便只好坐在電腦前記下這些文字。
這時，門店鈴響了。是清潔公司的鐘點工。這兩位中年婦女都各自別了兩朵d子花在身上。隨著她們走動，隱約的香氣便在屋子里四處播散，也時時飄進書房。這兩個喜歡邊干活邊聊家長里短的婦人，在我眼里顯得親切起來。
我問其中一位討了一朵，放到眼前。翻出植物志來細細觀察。…

花瓣自然潔白，而且厚厚的一植物書把這描述為“肉質”一在我看來，卻應該有一個更高級的比喻。那花瓣不僅潔白無瑕，而且，有著織錦般的暗紋，卻比織錦更細膩柔滑。
5月27日。夜。
臺灣有人捎了高山茶給成都的朋友。
於是就有了一頓酒。出去和這位受茶禮的朋友喝酒。陣雨剛過，帶著醉意回家，腳步輕飄地穿過院子，一陣濃香襲來。我曉得，是d子花開放了。
前兩天，銀杏樹下半匐匍的硬枝上閃著綠光的那片灌叢，剛豎起毛筆頭形狀的綠中泛白的花蕾，還以為要好幾天才會開放。卻恰恰就在這不經意的時候，這些d子花就悄然開放了。…
