譚光鼎·文化暴力（Cultural Violence）

名詞解釋:文化暴力又稱文化專制(Cultural arbitrary)，是文化再製 (cultural reproduction) 理論用來批判資本主義教育制度的基本論點之一。其主要的意義是：統治階層運用其權威以支配教育制度，驅使學校灌輸學生統治階層文化。這種以專制方式的教導，稱為文化暴力。由於知識是一種符號系統，並且以符號的形式表現，因此文化暴力亦稱「符號暴力」(Symbolic violence)。持符號暴力說者以「課程是一種意識形態的暴力」，是「傳輸統治權力並以階級統治為目標的暴力」。

其本質是語文符號，也就是意識形態，(ideology) 以與具有打擊性的物質暴力（如軍隊、警察）等並稱。文化暴力是由法國學者波迪爾 (Pierre Bourdieu) 及派色倫 (J.C.…
