佛洛斯特·出生地
和那遠處的山坡相比
這兒似乎沒有過任何的希望，
父親建造小屋，攏起了泉水，
用圍墻般的鎖鏈圍住所有東西。
周圍的地面不只長荒草，
還維持了我們各自的生命。
我們有十二個女孩和男孩。
高山似乎喜歡這熱鬧，
用很短的時間就了解了我們——
它的微笑總像含著什麽，
也許到今天它還是不知道我們的名字。
（當然沒有一個女孩保持著原樣。）
高山使我們從它的懷裏離開，
而現在它的山坳滿是樹木。
