讓我成為你的遼遠的守望者，
讓我成為巖石上傾聽的人，
給我雙眼，讓我看遍
你的海的寂寞，
讓我伴著滾滾江河
在拍岸的喧囂中
深入夜的聲音。
派遣我到你風起雲揚的
荒涼國度，
那裏雄偉的修道院宛如華服
圍裹著不曾生活過的生命。
那裏我願置身朝聖者之中，
不再有欺詐能夠將我
同他們的音容隔阻，
那裏我願追隨一個失明老者
走無人識得的路。
