梁文道： 男人下廚
說來慚愧，我是一個不懂得下廚的人。慚愧，並不是因為我寫了這麼多關於飲食的文字，結果自己對於廚藝卻是一竅不通。
我羞愧的主要理由，在於身為一個男人，我居然不懂得做菜。
曾幾何時，一個男人不會做飯是沒甚麼好內疚的。因為廚房的性別分工十分鮮明，正是“女主內，男主外”，女人在家煮飯餵飽一家老小，如果男人竟然也能 下廚，那他一定是個在外頭飯館裡工作的廚師。
簡單地講，女人做菜是她們的天職，是她們日常生活的一部份；男人做菜則是一種事業，是他們用來養家活口的謀生之計，並非必要，亦非必然。
所以才會出現如許奇怪的現象；大部份專業廚師都是男人，能夠揚名立萬稱得上廚神的也還是男人。能在這個圈子裡混得下去站得住腳的女人，卻是少之又…
