五 外婆
在我童年及後來的日子裏，還有一個最親近的人，那就是我的外婆。她老人家對我恩重如山、影響深遠。
一九五一年，父親響應支援大西北的號召，應聘到西北局財經委員會工作，五二年我們舉家遷往西安。為了讓媽媽能全力以赴工作，不為兒女和家務所拖累，姥姥決定讓她的弟媳——媽媽的舅媽——來照顧我們。我們都一直尊稱她叫她外婆。
姥姥這個決定真是太英明了，外婆不僅把家裏收拾得井井有條，對我們姊妹照顧得無微不至，解除了父母的後顧之憂讓他們好一心撲在工作上；而且在一九五七年父親蒙冤去職、勞動教養；六六年又被紅衛兵遣送回老家，家裏經濟拮據陷入困境的十幾年裏，她老人家一直沒有離開我們。…
