在現實的文學活動中，傳統四要素之間都不是直達關係，而都需以傳媒要素為中介獲得連接。因此圖示中世界、作家、作品、讀者之間沒有箭頭標識。
作家的文學創作或文學信息生產並不是直接完成的，世界對於作家的意義要通過肖像、指標、記號等符號媒介形式傳遞給作家，作家則同樣通過這些符號媒介從世界中選擇所需信息才能進行文學信息的生產。…
