楊貴妃那麽受寵，想吃荔枝，還需快馬加鞭跑幾天幾夜。而這里，到處是荔枝樹，吃多少隨自己的心意。這句詩，其實是大學士初來乍到，表達無法言說的喜悅之情。也有和杜牧，楊貴妃隔著歲月開玩笑的情致在里面。
圍著孤山走，松林蒼翠間，立著一座六如亭，這是蘇東坡專為愛妾朝雲所造，亭柱兩邊鐫刻楹聯：不增不減不垢不凈不生不滅。如夢如幻如泡如影如露如電。引人覺悟。引人珍惜。往里走，即是朝雲墓。
朝雲姓王，字子霞，錢塘江人。八歲被送進當時的官妓院，十二歲時，結識蘇東坡。大學士見她伶俐乖覺，滿眼含愁，問了幾句話，朝雲落淚。大學士不忍，問她，是否願意跟他走。…
