瑪格麗特·杜拉斯《物質生活》永隆
先是在永隆①，以後才是河內。我曾經講到永隆，河內沒有。永隆，我曾經講過，是交趾支那偏僻地區的一個居民點。地處烏瓦洲平原，我想，這里可以說是世界上最大的一片多水之地。那時我才八至十歲，發生了一件事。有如驚雷，或者是像是宗教信仰。在我這一生，竟有這種事發生。我已經活到七十二歲，依然像是昨天發生的事：居民點的林蔭小路，在歇晌的時間，白人居住區，道旁開滿金鳳花的大街，闃無行人。河水也在沈睡。於是她乘著她那輛利穆新黑色汽車馳過。她的名字大概叫安娜一瑪麗·斯特雷特②。又叫斯特萊泰。她是行政管理區行政長官的女人。他們有兩個孩子。他們是從老撾遷到這里來的，她在老撾曾經有一個年輕的情人。全部都在這里了：就像《印度之歌》…
