《沒有內容的人》中也出現了阿甘本方法論的另一個基本原則。到情況最極端指出去尋找救贖這個指導原則有一個非常明確的起源，那就是來自對荷爾德林的《拔摩島》一詩的引用：「可危險所在之處，也會生長出/救贖的力量（Wo aber Gefahr ist, wächst / Das Rettende auch）。」海德格爾數次引用過這兩行詩，最值得注意的，是在《關於技術的問題》（1953）和《詩人何為？》…
