沙漠旅遊探險之熱一再升溫，
綠洲，正在無可挽回地走向衰落。
比月牙泉更重要的
——救救蘇幹湖、救救坎兒井！

朱幼棣《后望书》疏勒河的挽歌 の 一座大壩不值一首詩
絲綢之路斷絕、唐玉門關廢棄之後，城池仍然孤獨地存在了一千多年，人們從未覺得這座故城有什麽妨礙。與今天戈壁灘上孤零零的小方盤相比，東漢至唐代的玉門新關宏偉壯觀，內涵也更加豐富。關城依山傍水，烽燧簇擁，輻射開來的南北幾條大路，在殘山疊嶂間繞行，曲折幽勝。如果保存到今天，唐玉門關實為珍貴的文化遺產，無與倫比的旅遊勝地，其價值無法估量。
疏勒河流過雙塔堡後，殘山蜿蜒的峽谷漸漸收窄。“兩岸山促，河嚙南山之趾”——在這里，山和河都是有靈性、有生命的活物，河水像漫遊的魚們，喋喋地擊拍著、唧咬著大山老人的腳趾。
清冽的雪水浸潤不出理性。悠揚嘹亮的羌笛已成絕響。…
