《沒有內容的人》是哲學家阿甘本在28歲時出版的作品，激進而根本地探討了美學問題，並從中體現出了極強的問題意識，令人能夠領略阿甘本風格和理路在藝術哲學中的發端。
從十七世紀的品位到康德美學的否定性，從狄德羅的小說到亞里士多德的《詩學》，從丟勒的《憂郁》到卡夫卡和本雅明，阿甘本以藝術問題的反轉鉤沉整個西方文化的古今與命運，直視其虛無與異化，並呼喚回歸原點和破舊立新。
