馮夢龍《情史》史五妻
史五的妻子徐氏，是定遠人，平日裏她溫順賢良，通情達理，對丈夫忠貞不二。
元代末年，史五做百夫長。到了至正十二年五月，突然有兇殘強暴的敵人攻至定遠縣，史五在保衛家鄉的巷戰中不幸犧牲。
噩耗傳來，其妻徐氏，大哭不止，痛不欲生。

馮夢龍《情史》王氏婦
至元十三年的冬天，元朝軍隊渡過江來，到達天臺。有一個千戶擄掠到一個婦人王氏，她的丈夫家是臨海人。此婦容貌艷麗，身材苗條，美色傾倒眾人。千戶為之神魂顛倒，殺盡了她的公公婆婆及丈夫，想要強迫王氏嫁給他，但王氏不肯。
冬去春來，在第二年春天的時候，千戶驅使王氏與他一道北行。到嶸縣清風嶺，王氏仰天暗嘆道：“我知道自己用什麼辦法去死了。”隨即咬破拇指，在崖石上用血題詩道：
君王無道妾當災，棄女拋男逐馬來。
夫面不知何日見，妾身料得幾時回？…

馮夢龍《情史》徐君寶妻
宋朝末年，嶽州徐君寶的妻子某氏，不幸被虜搶到杭州，把她安置在韓薪王府中。從岳州到杭州一共幾千里地，在押解徐君寶妻的途中，虜幾次想欺侮她，但終於被她以巧計戰勝，這才幸免遭受淩辱。
徐君寶妻生得非常漂亮，姿色迷人，就因為這，虜才不忍心把她殺掉。有一天，虜氣勢兇兇，怒不可遏，馬上就要徐君寶妻委身於他。某氏估計這回是難以擺脫他了，就說：“你等我祭奠完先夫，然後再做你的媳婦也不晚呵。君生個什麼氣呢。’獷虜聽了她的話，大喜，就答應了。
